Our Mission
Our team has spent years in the field with a clipboard, watching the same problems happen over and over. Paper field notes get lost or damaged — a mud stain, a gust of wind, a clipboard left on a tailgate — and if those papers are lost or destroyed, we have to go back and re-do the field work entirely, which can cost thousands of dollars and days you don't have. Even when the paper doesn't get lost, it still has to physically make its way from the field to a project manager or client, which means delays that shouldn't exist in a world where everyone already carries a phone.
That's why we started building these apps. A clipboard doesn't fit in your pocket — a phone does. With the right app, field data doesn't just get recorded, it gets shared instantly, with photos attached right alongside it, the moment you're done rather than whenever the paper eventually makes it back to the office.
Our mission is to build field software that solves the problems our team has lived with — priced fairly enough that any firm can afford it, not just the ones with enterprise budgets. Bore Logger is the first of several apps built on that same idea, with tools for daily field reports and site visit documentation on the way.
We're a small, independent company. That means when you have a question or an idea for how the software could work better, you're talking to the people who actually build it — not a support ticket that disappears into a queue.
